PASTOR - Skip Roten
A graduate of Lincoln Christian University, Skip has been pastoring since 1995. He loves to cook, play guitar, study the Bible, preach, teach, and lead worship. He is an avid reader and is kinda OCD about his bookshelves, while his housekeeping style is more along the lines of "There seems to have been a struggle". When he isn't studying, reading, cooking, or singing, you can see him driving his Jeep around Panola County and beyond, often with his dog Waylon in the back seat.
Skip has two children and 2 grandchildren. His son and daughter-in-law serve in Terre Haute, Indiana. Sam works in production for a major church in the area and Gabby is a campus minister at ISU for Intervarsity. They have one son, Maddox James. His daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law, Travis (whom he affectionately calls "the boy"), currently serve in the Air Force and are stationed in Georgia with their daughter, Aspen McKinley.
Skip loves movies, reading, has an incredible sense of humor (yes, he wrote this) and speaks fluent sarcasm, movie quotes, and song lyrics.

PIANIST -Christie Colvin
Since 1987 Christie has been providing the music that adds so much to our worship times. She plans for services, choir, accompanies individuals presenting special music, plays for Fifth Sunday Sings, revivals and any other programs as needed.
Nursery Attendant
A nursery is provided each Sunday morning during Sunday School and Worship.
