THE JOURNEY OF FAITH

   There’s a popular song that says life is a highway.  Somedays it seems like a wide four lane highway, others it is a rutted and twisty mountain trail.  The engine that drives us down that road is our faith.  Now the question is are you driving down the road behind a worn out four cylinder motor that only has enough power to go downhill when the road is easy or is there a powerful V8 that can pull you up the steepest mountain or through the deepest snow?  The journey of faith is what we face each day and we all need a tune-up from time to time.  This next weekend, March 17 – 19, we will discuss, study and pray about how we can deepen and strengthen our faith.

    One of the exercises we will begin with is an inventory of our faith, what do we believe about our faith and its place in our lives each and every day.  We will share on what builds faith and even what tears it down and what can we do to overcome and build.  On the last night we will do an exercise called a life review, hopefully where we bring everything together to see where we are and how we can move ahead in our faith.

   This study will have a lot.  For those who are struggling in their faith to those who are grounded but hungry for more in their faith.  I hope you will mark this on your calendar and share it with a friend.  We’ll join in some great singing and fellowship as well so please don’t miss out.
